Exciting Volunteer Opportunities in Local Youth Justice Projects
Le Chéile Mentoring & Family Support Services is currently recruiting three volunteer office administrators to join our projects in Crumlin, Ballymun and Portlaoise.
We are looking for people with excellent communication and organisational skills and an ability to work on their own initiative. Some previous administrative experience is preferable but not essential and good computer skills are needed. The suitable candidates must be enthusiastic, friendly, reliable and trustworthy.
Applicants must supply suitable character references and if successful, complete a Garda vetting application form.
In this position, your duties will include:
- Providing varied general office administration support
- Processing volunteer expenses
- Event organisation
- Researching activities, courses, and other information as required.
- Assisting with Recruitment and Training
The successful candidates will have the opportunity to get involved in all areas of the project’s work. They will gain an understanding of youth justice and family support and also valuable experience in a community based office environment. This position may be of interest to those seeking experience in a justice, youth or community-based setting.
We provide a full induction and volunteers will also have many opportunities throughout their time with Le Chéile for training and up-skilling.
We are looking for a commitment of at least one year, working 1 day per week or two mornings/afternoons. Hours are flexible and negotiable.
