Exciting Mentoring Opportunities in Shannon/Ennis/Limerick.
We’re currently looking for Male and Female volunteers in the Claire/Shannon/Limerick region to become:
- Young Person Mentors,
- Parent Mentors, and/or
- Restorative Justice Project volunteers.
A Le Chéile youth mentor is a role model who, through weekly meetings, supports a young person to make positive choices. Activities could include, cinema, eating out, snooker, evening classes, etc. or simply chatting with and guiding them with issues affecting their lives. Activity costs will be covered.
As a parent mentor you can help a parent through a difficult period in their life and help them to make positive changes in their home.
Volunteers with the Restorative Justice Project support and encourage a young person to repair harm caused by their offending behavior.
No experience is needed as full training and support is provided for all volunteer roles
