Volunteer in Waterford – Be a Mentor
Le Chéile is looking for men and women to volunteer as mentors to young people or parents in Waterford City and County.
Mentors make a real difference in the lives of young people and parents, offering support with issues affecting their lives. Mentors meet their match once a week for 2-3 hours and together do activities, goals or just meet for chat. As a mentor, you’ll be supporting a young person away from crime, or helping a parent make positive changes in their home.
No experience is required as full training and support is offered. Volunteering is flexible as mentoring can take place during the day, evening and weekend.
Information nights will be held in the City & County, please call for details and to book a place. Email or call our Waterford Co-ordinator Heather Sinnott at 0863871214 or firstname.lastname@example.org
