Victim Panel Volunteer
The Restorative Justice Project in Limerick looks for volunteers to be members of the Victim Panel. Victim impact panels provide a forum for those who have experienced a crime to tell the young offenders about the impact of the crime on their lives and on the lives of their families, friends, and neighbours.
Le Chéile’s Restorative Justice Project aims to provide a safe and appropriate environment in which those affected by crime can talk about the impact of the crime on their lives. With the aim of enabling young offenders aged 12 to 18 years to gain a greater insight into the impact that crime has hand on the injured party, their family and also the community at large.
