The Department of Justice published the new National Youth Justice Strategy for 2021 – 2027. The Strategy was welcomed by Anne Conroy, CEO of Le Chéile Mentoring, who said “We welcome the commitment to early intervention, to targeting young people before they get into trouble, the children first approach, the commitment to children’s rights, inter-agency collaboration, family support and detention as a last resort”.

Le Chéile looks forward to continuing our delivery of mentoring and family support services across the country under a vision statement that welcomes collaboration and promotes opportunities for all children and young people.
